GALA CHARITY DINNER featuring a renowned piano trio and soloists With the Gala charity dinner we want to help Ranch Kaja and Grom, where they’ve been working with children and animals with special needs, helping those with a low socioeconomic status, and functioning as a self-sustaining animal shelter (which requires significant financial investments) for 29 years, to build a multi-purpose wooden covered area. A space like that will enable children and animals to play, exercise and spend time together in any weather. Alongside fulfilling the needs of Ranch Kaja and Grom, it will also be open for other clubs and centers that might need it for their work: dog schools in the winter, play time for puppies, training and especially convalescence of other horses, as well as for the newfound Animal and nature ambassadors school, with the purpose of working kindly with animals and getting to know nature and animals in all weather conditions. The dinner, accompanied by wonderful music from a renowned piano trio and soloists under the direction of conductor Simon Dvoršak, will also feature an auction of hand-made wooden products by Andrej Žnidaršič and a few handicrafts made by children. The items that will be put up for auction will be published on the www.ana-meeting.com website on April 25th. Part of the profit from the event payments and the entire profit from the auction will be used for the purchase and construction of the multi-purpose area. Music accompaniment: We will enjoy solos, operas, operettas and musicals from the musical treasuries of composers from Mozart to Bernstein, performed by renowned performers: Eva Černe – soprano, Matjaž Stopinšek – tenor, Nejc Avbelj – violin, Katarina Kozjek – cello, and Simon Dvoršak – piano.
